In her article, “Tackle Undergraduate Student Loans While in Graduate School”, the author discusses undergraduate student loans and various ways this loan can be handled while in graduate school.

- In-school deferment or forbearance
- Switching to a lower monthly payment
- Continue repaying loans while in graduate school
Deciding what to do with undergraduate loans while you are in graduate school can be a complicated decision and a lot will have to do with the individual’s finances and career choice. There is no easy answer on this decision and the resulting debt will affect the individual for a lifetime.
