Haverford High School College Planning Program involves a series of information nights that cover three financial aid nights and two college application nights for the families of our township. Fred Amrein, an expert in college funding and student loan repayment will be the speaker on the financial aid topics. His presentations help parents understand how the financial aid process works and gives insights into both college funding and student loans.

Many students and families are financing a bigger portion of college education. The goal of this night is to help families understand student loans, debt at graduation, student loan repayment and what it means to finance college tuition.

This presentation helps parents understand how financial aid planning and college saving options can help to lower the cost of college. Details of the EFC calculation and FAFSA changes in relation to Prior Prior will be reviewed. Due to the FAFSA timing change parents need to start planning their financial aid position in freshman year.
